Underground courtyard: folk housing style in central China's Henan

Photo taken on Nov. 21, 2018 shows the night view of the underground courtyard in Shanzhou District of Sanmenxia City, central China's Henan Province. Underground courtyard in Shanzhou, a unique kind of residence in mountainous areas of western Henan, was listed as the national intangible cultural heritage in 2011.
