SUVA, Nov. 23 (Xinhua) -- The 2018 Fiji Showcase Xmas Special opened its gates on Friday with 125 exhibitors ready to put smiles on peoples faces with the bargains they have.
Total Event Company Manager Loretta Jackson said on Friday all booths, food stalls, rides, world-class thrilling international and local entertainers are ready for the people of Fiji at Fiji Showcase The Xmas Special.
She said the nine-day 2018 Fiji Showcase will be a festive one this year as customers will be able to take advantage of the Xmas Special.
This years event is a special one due to the unusual time of the year and Fiji Showcase The XMAS Special will give everyone a chance for one-stop shopping for Xmas plus the opportunity to enjoy the food, rides and local entertainment particularly,said Jackson.
This event will be family orientated as there will be something for everyone.
She said children will enjoy the magic and comedy shows, international performers,the fun-park, and most of all the carnival rides. Adults will also get to enjoy the great shopping experience, interesting and new products, as well as entertainment to suit them on their outing with the whole family.
More than 90,000 visitors are expected to enjoy the event in the capital city of Suva so for exhibitors it is an opportunity to promote and sell or introduce their products and services, gather leads and meet potential new customers directly.
The Fiji Showcase Xmas Special covers a diverse range of products, services and entertainment to ensure that the needs of consumers were catered for in totality. These include fashion and beauty, home furnishings, technology and electronics, general products, office works, outdoor living, lifestyle, arts and craft, kids clothing, educational resources, trade display, cars and car products, sport and leisure, garden centre and food court.
There will be amusement rides across the road in the multipurpose center. There will also be a line of entertainment which will surely captivate everyone by their performance.
Performers include the Zimboyz from Zimbabwe, the Inner Mongolian Acrobatic Troupe from China as well as Australias favourite clown Christof.
