ISLAMABAD, March 1 (Xinhua) -- Pakistan handed over a captured Indian pilot to Indian authorities Friday afternoon as a goodwill gesture to de-escalate tensions between the two neighbors, local media reported.

However, there is no official confirmation about the development.
